The History of the British,Canadian and Italian people is very old.
They were three of the most advanced cultures of the world, but unfortunately, along the centruries, these cultures, so similar and so different at the same time, entered in war and fought a lot of times for a lot of different causes....

During the summer of the 1943, the Allies invaded the Sicily, the largest island in the Mediterranean Sea. Sicily was a strategic target because it was a perfect airfield and logistic base to continue the war against Axis Power, in WW2.
So British, American, Canadian, Australian, Greek, Belgian (and a many many other...!) soldiers prepared for the Operations Workshop and Husky, the invasion of Sicily. They fought against Italian and German soldiers, some were veterans of the Desert War, some were soldiers that had never fought before.



A lot of soldiers never left Sicily, British,Canadian or Italian, now there's no importance.

Other soldiers were more lucky, and returned home.

Now, our task is to learn the lesson such as men as Mick, Renato and Gennaro gave to us.

These men left us an important legacy, and we have to keep, and protect the memory and share it with everyone in the world. With respect and memory, man and soldiers will never die again, and their sacrifice allows us to live in a better and peaceful world.
